Mountain View's Mechanic named Emergency Vehicle Technician of the Year!

Our Mechanic Mike Stankus was presented with the award the week of August 20th in Atlanta, GA at the International Fire Chiefs Association Conference. We are very proud of Mike!

The award is given to an emergency vehicle technician who has made an outstanding effort to promote a high standard of excellence in quality and safety in emergency vehicles.

An EVT is defined as a trained and certified professional who is responsible for the specification, maintenance and/or safety of emergency response vehicles and equipment. Selection criteria emphasizes in leadership, professional development, integrity, and a commitment to the safe operation of emergency vehicles for the responders and the community.
